Jai Hackl is an artist who creates custom sculptures.

He learned to weld as a fitter and machinist in mines around Australia.

Disillusioned with the mining industry, he travelled to South America, where he worked for an art collective, honing his craft at various festivals around the world.

He has since studied 3D modelling, which allows him to control the entire artistic process, and transform ideas into eye-catching and functional art.

He grew up on an equestrian farm in Lake Macquarie, and has a close connection to the land, ocean and east coast’s myriad waterways.
