WORK WITH JAI

A sculpture made
for your place.

Jai Hackl develops public art, architectural sculpture and private commissions for developers, councils, architects, festivals and collectors. Projects can begin with a specific design brief, a site or an idea.

What can you commission?

Large-scale metal sculpture, landmarks for public spaces, sculptural entrance features, garden artworks and installations. Material direction can include stainless steel, corten, brass, copper, reclaimed steel and timber, chosen to suit the form and setting.

How does a commission develop?

  1. Share your idea, site photographs, approximate scale, budget and timing.
  2. Develop the artistic direction with Jai through sketches and 3D concept studies.
  3. Agree the design scope, materials, fabrication plan, engineering requirements and price.
  4. Arrange fabrication, transport and installation for the agreed site.

Can Jai deliver internationally?

Yes. Jai works from Newcastle and Reno, Nevada and develops projects for international delivery. Access, shipping, local installation support and site requirements are resolved in the project plan.

How much does a sculpture commission cost?

Jai quotes sculpture commissions individually. Scale, material quantities, design complexity, engineering, fabrication time, transport and installation determine the price. Send a budget range with your enquiry so the first design discussion has a useful starting point.
